My Bridal Party. Aren’t these girls gorgeous!

My Bridal Party. Aren’t these girls gorgeous!

Y’all I’m getting married at the end of this month on May 31st! After being engaged for almost 3 years it’s finally here. I cannot be more excited for this next step in life with my significant otter (yes I said otter). I can’t wait to share my special day with you guys but until then I’m going to share my awesome Bridal Shower that Jazz (our Tuesday blogger) threw for me!

My bridal shower was fantastic! It was a day spent with wonderful women who all mean so much to me. I absolutely love planning events and decorating for others whether it be a birthday party or just a family BBQ so letting the reins go was hard for me but I trusted Jazz and my girls. Let me tell you, they did NOT disappoint.

My wonderful Aunt-in-law and her BFF allowed us to use their house as the backdrop for the party. Plus paying for an event space was not really in the budget. They were also in charge of food and drinks which were phenomenal. Most of the decorations came from my antique store which were the perfect touch to the vintage theme.

I always wanted a reason to dress up in 1920’s garb so my bridal shower was the perfect reason to! From the decor to the food and the guests everything screamed 1920’s. All of my guests dressed up which made it even more fun! And surprise surprise, my entire outfit was bought off Amazon!

I’m so happy to have these women in my life!

The most memorable part of the party was when Jazz handed me over a scrapbook that she decorated herself. Inside this scrapbook held letters from my mom, sister, and dad, as well as letters from my new family. Guys, I was a soggy mess after the first 2 letters. The book also held tons of pictures of Jeff and I from the past 5 years that we have been together. This book was so sentimental, it beat having a “Date Night Jar”. I love you Jazz.

In 3 weeks and 3 days I will become Mrs. Ward and I cannot wait. Its going to be EPIC.

Thank you to everyone who participated in making this a special day for me! XOXO

All of the pictures were taken by our Friday blogger, Dano! BTW she’s an AMAZING photographer who owns a photography business based in Colorado so if you like what you see or are in need of a wedding photographer Dano is your girl!

Until next time
