Packing for My Honeymoon

Packing for My Honeymoon

Hey y’all So if you’ve been following me for awhile then you know I got married this past May! My husband and I finally went on our honeymoon at the end of August. We went to Disneyland and Germany. It was so much fun. I just wanted to show you what outfits I packed and what worked and what didn’t.

First of all I wanted to pack as light as possible with a more “business” casual look because I was on my honeymoon and I didn’t want to look like a slob. Here’s what I packed for a 17 day trip.

Packing List:

6 T-shirts

1 Sweater

4 Jackets (All different weights)

2 Pairs of Jeans

1 Jumpsuit

2 Dresses

4 Pairs of shoes (sandals, boots, wedge sneakers, flat sneakers)

All of the extra stuff like under shirts, socks, bras, undies and pj’s.

Overall everything I took worked out really well. There were a few things I would change. I would have added another pair of jeans and taken away two jackets, a dress, and changed the sneaker situation. The wedge sneakers are super cute but they are NOT comfortable and the flat sneakers had no support whatsoever so it felt like I was walking on bare ground. I would have opted for a more supportive sneaker like a pair of Sketchers.

Those black ankle boots were EVERYTHING!

On the other hand I fell in LOVE with the black ankle boots I got off Amazon (another win!). These guys were pretty tight when I first got them but as I wore them they became fitted to my foot. They gave me support and my feet didn’t hurt at all while we were walking. Plus they’re really cute and went with everything!

Some other things I was glad I brought was a rain jacket that I got off Amazon….surprise surprise, and a sweater. While I didn’t need a sweater and a rain jacket at Disney I was glad I had them for Germany because it was rainy and cold the last five days of our trip. Another cool thing about the rain jacket is that it came with a little bag that it folded up into which made it easy to throw in my backpack.

If you’re going on a long trip and need some help figuring out what to pack I hope I gave you some inspiration!

Safe Travels
